Ceremonial handover of two EDM machines
The fact that well-established relations to the industry can be very useful is no longer a secret at the Villingen-Schwenningen trade school. This week a new chapter of success could be announced.
In the training of toolmakers, erosion is a major topic, both in the vocational school and in the apprenticing companies. Unfortunately, the necessary technology and equipment of the Gewerbeschule VS was no longer up to date. It was long overdue to purchase two modern machines. A major issue concerned the financing, as the budget would only be able to cover the costs associated with the purchase of one machines. To find a remedy, the school turned to Mitsubishi Electric Europe. There, they knew from their own experience how important it is to train vocational students with state-of-the-art technology. Therefore, the company granted two EDM machines very eagerly. When esgemo Schmierstofftechnik vowed to become a sponsor for the necessary lubricants, the matter was perfect. Deal closed.
Now the ceremonial handover of the machines took place in the new workshop facilities of the school. All participants accepted and followed the invitation for the festivities, with the representatives of Mitsubishi Electric and the school board leading the way.
